Unfolding as the No-Self
Sharon's retreats are a "living body of transmission". In this retreat, Unfolding as the No-Self, the emphasis will be on the qualities of ferociousness and discernment. According to Sharon, ferociousness is necessary to avoid being lulled into a false sense of abiding. Discernment is a fluid but stable grounding from which arises the ability to make choices in alignment with no-self, regardless of appearances. The focus for this retreat moves away from solving problems or dealing with what comes up, and moves into the experience of the unfolding of the no-self as a continuum.
This is a silent retreat with Satsang talks, guided meditation, art and music sharing, and question & answer sessions.
Retreat participants agree to maintain silence during the retreat except during group sharing at Satsang. Meals and on-your-own time are carried out in silence.
